Join us a Rates Options Trader
- Working in our Rates Options Trading team, you'll help implement our strategy across clients, risks and products, to expand NatWest Markets' footprint in EUR and GBP options trading
- You'll focus on developing a deep understanding of the vol market functioning, client flows and mechanics of market making
- You'll be in a position to gain excellent exposure for you and your work
**What you'll do**:
As a Rates Options Trader, you’ll be finding out what NatWest Markets' edge is, with innovation, niche product and risk management, in order to stand out and better service our clients' needs in a profitable way for the bank.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Shadow pricing client activity
- Managing key tasks such as expiry and reset management, P&L explanation and reconciliation
- Creating trade ideas and discussions with clients to make sure NatWest Markets is a trusted partner for the largest clients in the field
- Being involved in constant innovation with Quants, quant developers and other teams to improve our risk management capabilities and product offering within the bank's risk appetite
- Taking all reasonable steps to make sure trading activities are in line with the bank’s policies, covering market, conduct, operational, credit and regulatory risks
**The skills you'll need**:
To join us in this role, you'll need to hold a Maths or Finance-related degree.
You'll also bring:
- Experience in programming
- A good understanding of quantitative finance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
