**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of guest interaction, from taking orders to assisting with food preparation, all while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including tables, floors, and service counters.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed during busy periods.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in hospitality or a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests.
