This position provides management accountancy support to the Cancer Services Finance Team. The key elements of the post include raising and monitoring the Cancer Services income, monitor, manage and administrate identified aspects of drug prescribing and expenditure, update and maintain accurate staff expenditure, distributing budget holder statements and providing clerical and financial assistance to the Finance Manager and Management Accountants for the Cancer Centre.

To prepare and distribute the monthly budget holder reports to all Cancer Services budget holders; to answer queries from budget holders and interpret the reports when requested.

To investigate and answer queries from outside suppliers on payment or invoicing matters.

To support the Chief Pharmacist in controlling the High Cost Drugs budget by maintaining records of expenditure on drugs and providing this information so that expenditure forecasts can be made by the Chief Pharmacist & Finance.

To assist with the updating and distribution of the Cancer Services Finance Manual; to maintain the database of all Finance manual holders.

To maintain the list of budget holders and authorised signatories for Cancer Services and ensure that the list is updated when necessary and that all forms are received.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
