GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of **Transport Team Leader**. Joining forces with our latest client win TK Max (TJX) you will be based at our new site in Crewe and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and running of the transport operation.

The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06.00-18.00.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. You’ll receive 23 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Leading and working as a team to be responsible for delivering operational performance and the maintenance of site systems and operational processes
- Ensure the efficient planning and running of the operation, including supporting people management processes when required
- Effectively lead site teams operationally and support the Assistant Transport Manager
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure optimum performance and efficiency, whilst building positive working relationships with direct reports, peers and 3PLs

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Some experience within a transport environment, with a working knowledge of WTD and drivers’ hours
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, working accurately to strict KPIs
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, to champion a can-do attitude
- CPC would be an advantage
