**Assistant Registrar**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Registrar to coordinate the successful delivery of new long-term loans for the new galleries at Young V&A (a national museum dedicated to young people, from early years to teens). This is a varied role where you will also commence negotiations for long-term loans to V&A East (a new national museum comprising of two sister sites in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London) and project manage incoming loans for temporary displays at the V&A.

Ideally, you will have a Registrar or Exhibitions background with direct experience coordinating incoming and/or outgoing loans. Knowledge of the UK Government Indemnity Scheme, fine art insurance and museum object transport and outstanding negotiation skills are key for this role. You will demonstrate ability to prioritise a high workload and successful delivery to tight deadlines. A confident, articulate and persuasive communicator, you will develop close working relationships with colleagues across the Museum and external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the V&A's dynamic Loans team and contribute to the promotion of excellent standards of Collections Management practice within the Museum.

Please note, this is a fixed term role for 12 months.
