Working for a UK based business, with suppliers and customers located across Europe and worldwide. Its main warehouse is in the UK, but it also has third-party remote warehouses in Spain, Holland & Germany, which serve its European customers.

**Functions & responsibilities**

The role of the Logistics and Remote Warehouse Coordinator is to organise the storage and distribution of goods into and out the Remote Warehouse locations. The role will be responsible for:

- stock control within each remote warehouse, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and all goods movements inwards and outwards are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- organising transport from each remote warehouse, and occasionally into the remote warehouses from third party suppliers. Including sourcing the most cost-effective delivery methods which meet the time demands of the internal or external customer.
- regularly arranging deliveries within Europe, and from within Europe to the UK and vice versa. Occasionally arranging deliveries further afield.

Reporting to Finance Director and working closely with Procurement and Contracts Departments.

**Key Skills**
- Knowledge of post-Brexit rules covering the following types of goods movements:
from the UK into the EU, and vv,

from the EU to non-EU states, other than the UK, and vv,

from one EU state to another,

including customs clearance, VAT, EORI, duty rules as they affect these transactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work alone and as part of a wider team.
- Analytical mind, able to analyse data and good at problem solving.
- Strong computing skills required, including all Microsoft Office programmes.
- Ability to manage time and react with flexibility.

**Remuneration**

£25,000 pa + pension + holidays.

Due to the remote nature of the role WFH is a possibility, office-based in Fareham Hampshire for initial training with a view to WFH 3-4 days a week if desired once training complete.
