Part Time Caretaker Cleaner Position

Reporting to the Community Hub Manager

Salary £12ph 3 hours a day Monday to Friday

Based Rotunda College and Community Hub, Kirkdale, Liverpool 5 L5 2PL

Skills: Have basic maintenance skills and a passion for keeping things clean and tidy. Good understanding of Health and Safety or keen to learn, must be good with people and want to make a difference in our community.

Main duties
- **Cleaning**: Cleaning the building, including classrooms, toilets, and communal areas
- **Maintenance**: Performing minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, and booking contractors for major repairs
- **Safety**: Ensuring the building is safe and secure, including checking that doors and windows are locked, and testing alarm systems
- **Supplies**: Ordering cleaning materials, and new equipment
- **Bookings**: prepare rooms ready for external bookings / hires
- **Security**: Identifying health and safety issues and reporting them to the relevant person
- **Gardening**: Supporting general ground maintenance
- **Customer service**: Ensuring clear and safe service user access to the building, especially in adverse weather conditions

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
