Structural CAD Technician - Romsey | £27,000 - £35,000
Structural CAD Technician interested in joining a thriving structural consultancy in Romsey? In search of routes for progression within a growing business? Want to work on a wide variety of building and marine structures?
We are working with an established engineering consultancy that is renowned for working on a diverse range of projects, and has expertise in conservation, historic and listed building projects, cathedrals, and churches Other interesting projects they workon include bespoke oak structures, converted water towers, and unique marine structures.
They are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their structural engineering team on Romsey. You will work alongside 20 other engineering professionals to overcome a variety of design and construction method challenges. The ideal Structural Technicianwill work closely with various disciplines to produce detailed information packages using AutoCAD and Revit while learning other design and analysis software alongside.
The successful Structural CAD Technician will be joining a sociable team that enjoy regular group events. The average tenure at the company is currently 15 years Which demonstrates the longevity of the careers available at this company.
Required Skills/Qualifications of the Structural CAD Technician:

- Relevant BTEC or HNC/HND
- Experience working with AutoCAD & Revit Structures in a similar position.
- Knowledge of different construction methods and UK building regulations.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with a passion for sustainable design.
- RC detailing experience is beneficial.
