Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Growth Strategy

Responsible for delivering billings targets and strategic KPIs on allocated clients. As well as contributing to New Business workflows (pricing grids/written submission/idea development and presentation/managing account transitions).

Working with the Business Director and Client Director; responsible for inputting into the Agency and 'Key Client’ development plans, taking ownership of delegated actions and providing regular progress reports.

Responsible for ensuring all relevant Client information (personnel changes, business challenges, contractual changes/risks) are captured, classified, constantly updated and appropriately shared with stakeholders (Spark, PMX, Ops). Ensuring issues are avoidedin advance and all positive situations capitalised on.

Responsible for supporting the Business Director and Client Director in the delivery of an inspirational and educational OOH Event Calendar that catalysts advocacy in the planning community and drives growth.

Responsible for proactively working with the wider Publicis Media OOH team to identify best practices, lessons learned and case studies to continually improve the offer. Responsible for marketing this collateral to agency planners and clients.

Planning & Account management

Responsible for capturing briefs and developing responses which represent the best interests of our clients, maximise trading efficiencies, champion creativity, and ultimately drive business results.

Responsible for delivering outputs with strong rationales informed by data, rigorously thought out plans, accurate and insightful reporting.

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering the following across their own campaigns:

- Full use of the 'Planning & Buying Framework’ to deliver high quality solutions which maximise growth.
- Purl compliance to support accurate reporting and increased efficiency and automation.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures with Central Trading and Activation to ensure contractual guarantees (i.e. PRFs) and commercial considerations (i.e. APEX) are met, whilst always meeting client objectives; and all campaigns effectively trafficked.
- Proactively engaging different activation disciplines to drive OOH integration with other media.
- Acute attention to detail and cascading of best practice down to junior team members; inclusive of financial due diligence (invoice queries swiftly resolved/timely billing) and completion of admin tasks.
- Contributing initiatives which maximise the efficiency and productivity of working practices.
- Actively marketing campaign performance back to the agency and client to drive future consideration.
- Thorough understanding of the OOH marketplace, inclusive of emerging technologies and how these can be incorporated into our planning as well as advances in 'programmatic guaranteed’ trading.

Relationship Management

Responsible for proactively establishing yourself as the key go to contact for your allocated clients and a trusted advisor; able to present confidently in client meetings.

Responsible for managing internal relationships with other teams, as well as external relationships with clients, suppliers and 3rd parties on your client base.

Responsible for providing regular reviews and performance tracking against forecasts to the Client Director and/or Business Director.

Responsible for ensuring Spark SLA agreements are adhered to and all contractual commitments met. Working with the Client Director to resolve any issues identified to the satisfaction of all parties.

Responsible for working with all relevant Media Owners to ensure working relationships and practices are as effective and efficient as possible to deliver Client growth targets and organic growth opportunities.

Forecasting

Responsible for regularly monitoring commercial performance against billings forecasts and 'Key Client’ stretch targets. Working with BD and CD to ensure pro-active timely actions are taken. This includes:

- Compliance with the forecasting best practice process as set out by the Business Director.
- Aligning responses to performance gaps to ensure a practical solution is achieved.
- Advising BD and CD of any major risks and opportunities, agreeing how to progress/resolve, implementing action plan and updating on progress.
- Informing Trading team of any major changes in spend direction and working with them to resolve any issues this might raise.
- Ensuring barter and APEX clients are identified and impact determined on development plan.
