Morning warehouse/parcel sortation person

We are now looking to strengthen our early morning shift by recruiting 2 x morning parcel sortation staff for our site in Leeds.

**Job Summary**:
To facilitate and assist in the morning parcel sortation process by moving parcels and other deliveries into the respective vehicle bays ready for loading. To ensure efficiency of the morning sortation and targets achieved in getting vehicles on the road on time.

**Reports To**:
Shift Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- To unload cages and pallets of parcel freight in an efficient manner.
- To be able to utilise scanning equipment when instructed to do so to ensure consignment tracking is maintained.
- To assist drivers to load their vehicles to maintain their strict departure times are adhered to.
- Be able to use manual and electric pallet trucks to assist in the sortation where required.
- To ensure health and safety standards are maintained.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous warehouse (preferred)

**Person Specification**:

- Punctual, honest, and reliable
- Used to early shift starts
- Flexible approach to work.
- A self-starter and excellent team player.

**Working Hours**:
This is a part time role
- Tuesday to Friday Mornings 4am - 8am

Saturday 5am to 9am
