A Gateshead accounting firm are looking for an experienced Practice Accountant or Accounts Senior to support with their growing portfolio of new clients.

Joining a well established team where a large majority of staff have over 10 years service you will be supporting the Partners with accounts preparation.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Preparation of management accounts and VAT Returns.
- Working with Sage and Xero competently supporting clients with the use of these systems for their accounts.

We are looking for a Practice Accountant from the profession as opposed to industry as a large part of the role is year end accounting and managing multiple clients. Applicants will be AAT qualified as a minimum.

We are looking for someone local to Gateshead for easy access to the office however a considerable amount of flexibility is offered around working hours and home/office base. It is a perfect role for someone looking to balance home and work life. Or perhapsthose working in a part-time role and looking to supplement their income with additional hours.
