**What does the position entail?**
You will actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people who live in the home. As a Team Leader, you will provide high quality childcare practice, within Sandcastle Care’s Philosophy of Care, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.
You will support the Registered Home Manager to ensure that a warm, nurturing, homely and accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered, and developed in accordance with our core values.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting
- Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent / or working towards
- Ability to interact with a range of people/young people
- Confidence and ability to lead a team of practitioners
- To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
- Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
- Shift work including weekends, evenings and sleep-in duties on a rota system
- Full driving licence is essential

Working a rota of: 1 day on - 2 days off
