**Your new opportunity**

Our **Lets Talk** **Service** has been developed in partnership with schools and the young people who use our service. We support primary and high school pupils who are facing mental health challenges. We are currently recruiting for **Sessional School Support Worker**who will work as part of a team tasked with delivering support to pupils referred by primary and secondary schools from across the city.

You will be tasked with processing referrals, where you will develop and deliver appropriate interventions using the resources and approaches developed by the Quarriers **Let’s Talk service.**

As a **School Support Worker** You will work on delivering positive outcomes for the pupils we support daily. Working on creating strong relationships with your colleagues where you can share experience and knowledge.

This a **relief sessional contract**, hours will be dependent on the needs of the service and our users.

**What you will need to succeed/bring to the role**
- Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
- Have knowledge of group work and individual support interventions with children and young people.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
- Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener
- Good IT & communication skills.
- A full driving license is desirable.
