In this role you will ensure appropriate processes, systems and structures are in place to manage compliance within the firm’s legal and regulatory obligations. You will work closely with the SIX Group Compliance function and you will be responsibile from policy design to monitoring and reporting on compliance and for instilling a strong compliance culture within the firm.

**What You Will Do**:

- ensure compliance of REGIS-TR UK Ltd with UK EMIR and all applicable laws and regulations;
- execute the compliance monitoring program, including liaising with Compliance Services in relation to screening, trends and patterns monitoring and other centrally supported functions
- report compliance exceptions to the senior management and the Board of Directors and, where appropriate, to the FCA and other regulatory bodies
- establish procedures for and oversee the remediation of non-compliance issues identified through internal controls, external audit or self-reported
- provide advice and guidance to the business and to senior management on identifying and mitigating financial crime risks and any conflicts of interest and inform and train employees on compliance topics
- implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures to minimize potential risk
- closely liaise with SIX Group Compliance and ensure implementation of SIX Group directives and regulations

**What You Bring**:

- several years of experience in relevant compliance areas and/or relevant business areas (such as may be obtained in the banking sector or in audit firms)
- communication and negotiation skills, including ability to present complex matters in a clear and comprehensive way
- willingness to travel
- proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in French, Spanish or German would be considered an advantage
