**Role Description**:
The IAM Risk Lead role is responsible for monitoring, analysing and assessing potential or existing risk to IAM controls, providing related governance guidance and resolution assistance for the IAM team, CyberSecurity and the wider DBS organization. The role will assist in developing and maintaining strategies to protect the organisation, overseeing compliance measures to avoid information security risks to IAM and its customers.

The Risk Lead role aims to forward plan for audit activities, track and coordinate IAM tasks during audits and ensure any issues and associated management action plans are fully understood and agreed to prior to being passed through the Risk and Issue Management process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing end to end IAM risk management and global control monitoring aligned to the Bank’s NFRO framework.
- Assist with the delivery of IAM improvements, automation and future-state objectives.
- Directly influence the operational effectiveness of the functional unit.
- Act as an initial point of contact for IAM risk, issue and audit requirements.
- Adhere to and actively support established policies and procedures in own team.
- Support change initiatives and embed change initiatives within own team.

- NIST Awareness/knowledge
- Technical background
- Previous audit/governance role
- Excellent communication - written and verbal
- Previous experience in risk role or similar.
- Experience of communication with 3rd parties.
