They are a fairly large nursery with an excellent local reputation and they work hard to maintain the quality of their operation. That means they are professional with high standards, which they find that good staff are happier with rather than working fora more slap dash business that wants less from you and care less about their children. They know this by the number of staff that have left over the years, for various reasons, yet want to come back to them later, having been disappointed with jobs elsewhere.So they must be doing something right.
They try to provide good staff facilities and working conditions and you will find the Owners and/or Managers always on the premises with an open door to you. They operate a bonus scheme which allows an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to increase their salaryby up to £1450.00pa, just by coming to work regularly (Included in the salary quoted).
There is continuous training given and they support, encourage, and facilitate your continued professional development. All their staff are first aid qualified the training for which they supply. Almost all their Senior Staff and Managers have been promotedfrom within and originally joined them as Apprentices. Many of their staff have worked for them for many years, some developing a career, some happier to stay within the room, so whatever you are looking for, they can probably satisfy you. They have around100 children per day and 50 staff so there are opportunities for either path.
**REQUIREMENTS FOR APPRENTICE NURSERY PRACTITIONER**
First of all, they hope you will be happy, excited and stimulated coming to work. If English is not your first language (and even if it is) they will want you to have a good grasp of the written and spoken language in order to communicate well with children,parents and staff as well as be able to learn to write adequate observations and reports etc. They will be looking for people with a desire to work with children who enjoy their interaction. You will also need to be a team player, able to take direction, yetalso able to be self motivated and contribute to the running of your room.

Full Time - 8-6 with an hour for lunch including study time, for which you are paid.
Once qualified, next year, you will earn around £22,600 if over 23 and £22,000 if under 23, including the full bonus.
