**WHAT WE DO**

We are an established team that require an enthusiastic and organised Co-ordinator to effectively line manage a small team of Adult and Apprentice Mentors. The team support adults and apprentices with additional learning needs across all curriculum areas.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- To be responsible for a caseload students who have SEND needs acting as the main point of contact for the students while they are enrolled to Leeds City College.
- To complete support plans and summaries for SEND students, demonstrating appropriate strategies and Exam Access Arrangements. Comply with the JCQ guidelines. Ensure EAA is in place for all SEND students.
- When a SEND support plan is completed/reviewed coordinate a meeting with the relevant staff from the curriculum department to discuss and agree the best way for the outcomes to be achieved.
- Following this put the appropriate support in place, and lead on the coordination of SEND reviews at the direction of the Support Manager To lead on the transition into, through and out of Keighley College for the caseload of students who have SEND, working collaboratively with Schools, parents and other partners.
- To lead and manage a team of Adult Support Mentors who provide learning or access support for students who have SEND using a range of innovative and strategic approaches.
- Support and supervise specialist agency staff providing support on the campus/centre as required.
**YOUR PROFILE**
- A committed individual with experience of working with people with additional learning needs in an education environment.
- GCSE grade 4 or Level 2 Maths and English qualifications.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of learning difficultly /disability issues which can be barriers to learning or progression and experience of supporting students to overcome these.
- Experience of line managing a team.
- Ability to manage own workload and oversee and delegate work to team members.
- Successful and proven experience of meeting deadlines.
