- National Certificate for Personal Licence
- Health & Safety qualification
- Level 1,2 and 3 Food Safety Awards
- Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Experience in managing busy pubs with strong sales performance
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Possess strong communication skills
- Confident, self-motivated and a true team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience in contributing to and implementing strategic and business plans

**What will your role as a General Manager look like?**
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the business
- To work collaboratively with the Board to shape & implement the business strategy, identifying effective initiatives to maximise profitability and meet business goals
- Create a high-performing culture through the recruitment selection, development, and engagement of talent in the business
- Ensuring all new employees complete a successful induction plan and performance is monitored closely until successful probation has been achieved
- Ensure team have adequate training to deliver the high standards of customer service expected
- Responsible for implementing all internal policies and procedures
- Ensure all targets & KPI’s are delivered
- To organise and manage all events
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages and food are served to customers
- Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints
- Overseeing the cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of the pub, ensuring there are no health and safety violations
- Carry out regular stock-takes, liaise with suppliers and handle deliveries
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
- Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow
