Are you looking to use and develop your skills in video creation and social media? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic video content creator to contribute to the ideation and creative output of Expert Home Tip’s original content, ensuring optimisation for cross-platform posting.

Expert Home Tips is a lifestyle website that offers a beautifully curated collection of the best home hacks, living tips, competitions, and more. Over the last three years, we have grown our YouTube channel to 28,000+ subscribers and achieved over 3 million views. Now, we want to grow our channel further with a suite of new content and like-minded partnerships.

We are part of the Veneficus family of sites, which includes Magic Freebies (the UK’s biggest freebie site) and the Veneficus Network, which partners us with over 300 publishers across the world.

We’re looking for an entry-level creative with video filming and editing skills to join us as we continue to develop our Expert Home Tips channels with engaging content.

The role will involve supporting our Senior Content Manager to drive increased subscribers, views and revenue.

**Daily responsibilities**
- Create high-quality and informative video content using Adobe Premier Pro to schedule on our social platforms and channels
- Design and manage creative assets using Canva
- Stay up to date with industry trends and work closely with our Senior Content Manager to identify ways to improve our content and optimise our social media strategy

**Essential requirements**
- Able to film and edit video with professional equipment and software (DSLR camera and Adobe Premier Pro)
- Can demonstrate a meticulous eye for video creation, storytelling and creative ideation
- Social media channel capabilities (including posting on YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, X, TikTok and web forums)
- Proficient in using Canva and/or other design programmes
- Able to analyse technical issues and work around limitations
- Employs excellent time management and organisational skills, meeting deadlines, working independently and under pressure without sacrificing quality
- A collaborative team player with a willingness to get involved, develop new skills and be proactive in response to feedback
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in home and lifestyle content
- Keen to learn and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
- Fluent and articulate in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Recent 2:1 or above graduate with a BA in English, Journalism, Public Relations or another media-related degree (in lieu of degree, at least 2 years of relevant experience)
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Must be able to work full-time

**Desirable skills and experience**
- Prior experience in an editing role within a digital business
- Comprehension of analytics tools and performance metrics for social media and websites
- History of creating videos and running your own channel
- Experience with studio lighting for film production
- Experience with content tools, including Adobe Premier Pro and SEMRush
- Content Management System (CMS) experience
- SEO knowledge
- Awareness of sponsorship regulations

**Direct Reporting to**
- Senior Content Manager

**Location**
- The role will be mostly remote with some in-office hours required (located in Guildford, approximately 30 mins from central London)
