2nd Line Support Engineer
Role: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Sheffield

**Salary**: £30K DOE
I am looking for an IT Support Engineer with a positive, can do attitude to join a thriving MSP in Sheffield on a permanent basis. This company have longstanding relationships with various organisations across the Yorkshire, Derby and Nottingham areas - and have a great reputation for the high level of support and customer service they provide. This position is integral to ensuring thecontinued success of their service and will see you providing 2nd line support alongside the senior 3rd line engineers. This position is focused around progression - both on an individual and company basis - and will allow you to grow your own knowledge aswell as take on sole support for various clients of your own.

Role Responsibilities:
**Provide hands on 2nd line support to various customers across Yorkshire / East Midlands - full UK Driving License required as travel to customer site is required
**Shadow senior engineers to get a feel for the different businesses to allow you to then inherit / take on your own clients
**Act as the face of the business and direct point of contact for IT, Infrastructure and Network issues across the customer base
**Be comfortable working on an independent basis, leading projects and liaising directly with users
**Be comfortable working as a team to ensure projects are delivered within given time frames and that all systems are running smoothly
**Have a drive and a want to thrive and constantly develop your skills and grow as an IT Professional
Technical Skills:
**Windows Server and OS
**Office 365, Exchange
**G-Suite
**Active Directory, Azure
**Hyper-V, VMWare
**Networking
Ideally you will have MSP experience, however this is not essential - the company are looking for someone who is a self-starter and technically hands on, with great interpersonal skills and a want to engage with and put the customer first.
