An exceptional opportunity has arisen within a long established and very successful manufacturing company located in Medway Towns as a **Production Assistant**.

You will work Monday-Friday 7am/8am-3pm/4pm, 40 hours per week in a small team where you will receive on job training. If you are from a manufacturing background, particularly making castings this would be advantageous.

You will be numerate, literate, accurate and have attention to detail and ideally have a G.C.S.E or equivalent in English and Maths. You will be self motivated, happy to work alone and be looking for a long term career.

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor you will manufacture products to specified tolerances, quality control through to dispatch. You will also be responsible for keeping production records up to date and making sure the product is packaged correctly anddispatched on time.

Other duties include general housekeeping, making sure materials are correctly stored for auditing purposes. When required you will be assisting in the manufacture of laboratory samples for customers.
