We are recruiting for a new role for an Engineering Planner / Scheduler to join our Engineering team based on our Hoddesdon site. In this role you will assist the efficient performance of the Engineering & Facilities in coordinating and planning reactive and planned engineering activities, both with internal engineering resources and third-party contractors. In addition you will ensure all relevant engineering documents are completed, reviewed and compliant, working cross functionally to ensure effective work planning and work prioritization.

**Requirements**:

- A recognized engineering qualification
- Engineering experience within the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry
- Very familiar and experienced with managing planned preventative maintenance programs
- IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and highly motivated for continued learning and performance improvement
- Highly proficient with operating and utilizing computerized maintenance management systems, such as Maximo
- Very effective organization skills and prioritization of work with an adaptable and flexible attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a natural team player

**Key roles and responsibilities**:

- Managing the site’s planned maintenance system program, ensuring work is effectively planned and resources allocated, working closely with the Engineering Workshop Manager and Instrument/Calibration Technical Lead.
- Prioritising corrective and ad hoc work requests. Report and review engineering KPI’s, supporting the Engineering & Facilities Management on monitoring and tracking performance of the function.
- Ensure engineering documentation is managed, technically reviewed, completed and retained in accordance with GMP and complies with all relevant legislation, and is audit ready.
- Work with the EF Team to ensure an effective spares/materials and equipment procurement/management process is in place.
