Student Engagement and Marketing Officer

We are looking for a bright and energetic Student Engagement and Marketing Officer to join us at INTO City.

This person will join a focused, dynamic recruitment and marketing team at the Centre, working closely with the International Recruitment and Marketing Manager and Assistant Director Recruitment to highlight and promote the ‘student voice’ in support of the recruitment of international students.

The key focus of the role is to connect with prospective, current and former INTO City students to create and distribute engaging content and deliver student recruitment activities that highlight the ‘student voice’. This person will also support the delivery of student recruitment activities in the UK and overseas.

This is a people focused role, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with different areas of the business, including INTO’s Marketing Team and marketing colleagues at City, University of London to identify opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion.

With that, we are looking for someone who has exceptional relationship building skills as well as a creative and innovative mindset to successfully and confidently communicate and engage with stakeholders both internally and externally.

Role and responsibilities
- Engage with current and former INTO City students to create content and deliver activities that highlight the ‘student voice’ to prospective students.
- Create engaging marketing collateral, including videos, flyers, testimonials, newsletters and blogs and collate content for the prospectus, website and campaigns
- Manage INTO City’s social media accounts, with support and guidance from the IUP Marketing team
- Support conversion of INTO City offer holders, conducting offer holder meetings and working with INTO central marketing team to ensure that applicants receive regular, relevant communications
- Recruit, train and manage a small group of student ambassadors, work with them to create marketing content and support student recruitment activities
- Cultivate and maintain solid, loyal relationships with INTO and City, UoL marketing teams, providing them with first class service and support and ensuring a joined-up approach to the promotion of the Centre
- Support the promotional activities of the student recruitment teams at INTO City, INTO and City, UoL. This will involve delivering presentations to a range of stakeholders including agents, students, parents and sponsors as well as attending virtual and in-person student recruitment events in the UK and overseas
- Coordinate inward stakeholder visits and events including agent familiarization visits, applicant and offer holder events as well as ‘walk-in’ enquirers to the Centre. This will involve booking rooms, hotels and catering as well as delivering campus tours, presentations, and organizing attendance by current students
- Some travel to the UK or overseas will be required
