**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed.
- Participate in site preparation and clean-up activities.
- Adhere to instructions from supervisors and contribute to team objectives.
- Housekeeping yard and buildings, making sure we have clean, clear and safe working areas, ensuring all walkways and floors are clean, clear and in safe use in and around machinery and the yard.
- Putting new stock away into racks and allocated areas.
- Learn and use some machinery safely to help day to day.
- Rotating and restocking timbers
- Additional duties at management request
- Basic order picking, where directed by your supervisor.
- Help with machinery and vehicle checks

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with construction or manual handling techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong physical fitness to handle manual tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices is required.

Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
