As a **Transport Maintenance Planner**, you will be required to work closely with the Transport Managers to ensure the safe and efficient running of our fleet of vehicles. Planning maintenance inspections, organising vehicle breakdown repairs, and rectifying daily defects will be your main priority but this role is varied, and being able to multitask is a necessary skill.
**Duties**:
- Schedule repairs of daily defects.
- Coordinate vehicles for planned maintenance inspections.
- Ensure all work has been completed, paperwork is received, and the vehicle has been declared roadworthy before any vehicles are collected from a maintenance provider.
- Work closely with the Transport Managers to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
- Work together with the Transport Team to develop and improve systems.
- Work closely with the Service Coordinators to keep them informed of truck breakdowns and any potential issues that may impact on service.
- Conduct CCTV checks and collate information for any incidents.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
**Key skills & experience**:
- Office administration.
- Good Organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in maintenance planning not essential but advantageous.
Other
- Act as an ambassador for the company, leading by example to promote excellent customer service and compliance at all times.
- Any other duties as required to assist in the effective running of the company.
