Financial Reporting Accountant

The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely information for both internal and external reporting purposes, in order to enable management to enhance Company profitability and performance and to ensure companyassets are appropriately safeguarded.
The role ensures the timely production of accurate reporting under applicable accounting standards. The role will also have responsibility for managing key relationships with external advisors including the Group audit and tax processes.
**Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:**:
- Preparation of external financial reporting for Group to include annual report and accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and key disclosure requirements for annual reporting.
- Management of the Group external audit process, liaising with external auditors and internal finance teams as appropriate.
- Liaison with external advisers to ensure compliance with tax regulations including VAT and corporation tax.
- Completion of monthly management accounts including consolidation of Group entities.
- Management of the annual budgeting process including consolidation of Group entities.
- Evaluation of cash flow forecast and compliance with financial covenants.
- Management of Group foreign exchange hedging arrangements.
- Management of the UK R&D tax relief claim.
- Support finance team with ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
