**Be the Face (and Fur) of Coventry City FC - Sky Blue Sam Mascot Performer**

**Location**: Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry
**Hours**: Matchdays & selected club events (including evenings, weekends, and occasional midweek appearances)
**Contract**: Casual / Matchday role

**About the Role**

Coventry City Football Club is looking for an energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to bring our beloved mascot Sky Blue Sam to life. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering unforgettable matchday experiences for fans of all ages, representing the club at both home fixtures and other internal events.

As Sky Blue Sam, you’ll embody the fun, family-friendly spirit of the club, dancing, interacting, and engaging with supporters in a way that creates lasting memories.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform as Sky Blue Sam at all Coventry City FC home games and designated club/community events.
- Engage with supporters of all ages in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Work alongside the club’s marketing and matchday teams to deliver planned mascot activities.
- Maintain the costume and ensure it is kept in good condition.
- Support the club’s commitment to fan engagement and the promotion of a family-friendly environment.

**Commitment**

While this is a casual role, we are looking for someone who can commit to the majority, if not all, Coventry City FC home matchdays throughout the season. This includes Saturday fixtures, occasional weekday evening games, and potential cup matches. Flexibility to attend community appearances and special events outside of matchdays is also desirable.

**Requirements**:

- Outgoing personality with a flair for performance and improvisation.
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform in a costume for extended periods.
- Comfortable engaging with large crowds and posing for photographs.
- Ability to work in a hot, enclosed costume and in varying weather conditions.
- Professional, punctual, and reliable.
- Previous performance, acting, or mascot experience is desirable but not essential.
