Our client is seeking a tenacious and dynamic Technical Consultant to provide technical support and training for market-leading Cardiology products to Cardiologists and Nurses in Centres across Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team in a global blue-chip Medical Device organisation with lots of space for progression and development.

**Ideal Requirement**
- Our client is ideally looking for applicants working as a Registered Cardiac Nurse, Echocardiographer, Cardiac Physiologist, or a Clinical or Technical support background.
- Experience is Medical Device industry, ideally in Cardiology.
- Previous training / education experience.
- Ideally located in Leeds.

**Role Responsibilities**
- The primary focus of the Technical Consultant role is to provide excellent clinical/technical support and education for Cardiology implanters/implanting teams, to ensure best practice guidelines on the use of products are followed and best clinical outcomesachieved for patients whilst enhancing the company’s reputation in the market.
- Provides clinical implant support to the clinical team in theatre/Cath lab, advising, guiding, and shaping the intervention. This includes support of pre-op case planning, technical guidance and recommendations in-line with best-practices, the post-op reviewprocess, etc.
- Plans and priorities the execution strategies for clinical, technical and education programmes within the sales team, marketing, market development, Country Sales Manager), in line with the UKI business objective, account plans and roles and responsibilities.
- Provides technical support to the customers across the full UK & Ireland region, both before and after the implant of the device. Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers on request.
- Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programmes. Prepares study materials, plans, organises, and conducts training to customers (Physicians, Technicians and Nurses) in collaboration with the sales force/network team.
- Builds strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers, especially clinical customers including UKI KOLs.
- Supports marketing and sales teams with the introduction and market launch of new products and therapies.
- Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete, and timely fashion when requested through CRM platforms such as Lightning.
- Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e. boot stock reports, stock movement forms etc.).

**Role Specific Competencies**
- Able to work in a cardiac cath lab/operating room environment
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
