**Your role**
The purpose of this role is to provide an in-house facility to investigate liability across all classes of business handled in the Major Injury Claims team. You will be representing RSA through face-to-face interactions, as your role involves undertaking on-site investigations of allocated claims to gather relevant evidence/information/witness statements and documentation, making recommendations on legal liability and providing accurate and consistent policy interpretations with reference to relevant case law.
You will also be expected to provide advice on case reserve, recovery potential and risk improvements as appropriate.
**About you**
- A proven experience of investigating high value casualty claims.
- Good influencing skills and ability to manage stakeholders at all levels across all business areas.
- Ability to produce well-structured, professional reports.
- Good organisational skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the legal framework in the UK.
- Ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
