Centenary Lounge is a collection of Art Deco Licensed Cafes. We offer an all day brunch menu as well as cakes, pastries and home-made sandwiches, paninis and salads.

A fantastic opportunity to join a great team at Birmingham Moor St Station.

You will be required to cook breakfast and pastries in the morning shift along with preparing sandwiches, paninis, ciabattas and salads etc Plus preparing the all day brunch to order.

When working FOH, we will require Customer Service of an excellent level at all times in order to keep our customers happy. These include serving customers, preparing food and drinks and delivering with a smile.

If multi tasking is something you are good at then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

We are a small but an extremely busy cafe.

Enjoy making customers happy, preparing food and drink. Food prep experience is essential.

Your duties will include taking orders, cleaning, using the till, handling payments and any other tasks that are part of the day to day operations.

**Having** **Kitchen experience and some customer service experience is required.**

You must be reliable, punctual, professional and friendly at all times. Being a team player is essential as well as great customer service.

Join our vibrant team at Centenary Lounge, a bustling café known for its delicious menu offerings and welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a dedicated Café all rounder to support both front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient food preparation.

**Duties**:

- Food preparation, including cooking pastries, preparing sandwiches, paninis, salads, and all-day brunch items.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving customers in a friendly manner.
- Multi-task effectively to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Take customer orders, operate the till, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness in the café at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in food preparation is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic math for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work 25-40 hours per week, including weekends and varied shifts.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.60-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
