Based in the London Paul Smith HQ, as Press & VIP Officer you will support and lead the Press & VIP Assistant and any internship team members. The role is responsible for the Press, VIP and Influencer activations for all Paul Smith lines, as well as Paul Smith events and the seasonal shows for the UK Market. Working closely in line with the Global Press Teams to achieve the band strategy and focus every season.

**The Role**
- Support the Senior Press & VIP Manager and UK Press team to generate positive digital, print and social coverage.
- Ensure all key special projects and partnerships are consistently represented in relevant UK media.
- Help generate key VIP dressing moments in the market.
- Identify, nurture and develop relationships with key media, along with VIPs, their Managers and Publicists.
- Work alongside the Marketing team to coordinate UK influencer activity for inhouse marketing campaigns and projects.
- Manage and develop the Press Assistants in the Press team and help organise the recruitment and scheduling of any intern work placements.
- Oversee daily administrative duties of the Press Assistant UK, database maintenance, Press showroom and sample coordination.
- Keep up to date and communicate industry news as well as trends and themes in fashion and culture.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience working in a Press office with administrative duties in the fashion industry.
- Experience of sample management, collating information and creating reports.
- High level of knowledge working with Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of national UK Press & VIP Stylists.
- Desirable experience of arranging large scale events, shows and event days.
- Knowledge of International Press would be desirable but not essential.
