Description
Anderson Knight have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Utility Technical Support Officer. This is a newly created role that will provide commercial and technical support to our client ensuring the department processes and procedures are adhered to in the region.
Our client is based in Harlow in Essex, this role will support either hybrid working or working from home - there will be a requirement to attend team meetings on site.
**Responsibilities**
⦁ Program Management of the off-site works through Microsoft Project
⦁ Design Management for all new acceptance’s log track & liaise with customers to obtain development documentation.
⦁ Liaising with the clients to provide site updates provided from EUL Project management.
⦁ Set up initial post award meetings with developers and internal management.
⦁ weekly programme meeting updates and project reviews with EUL project management for all new awards and existing projects until power on is achieved.
⦁ Liaise with HQ Finance team to issue the invoice for the VO’s / Advanced Payments and Monthly Invoices where appropriate.
⦁ Liaise monthly with Finance to identify any non-payment and then take ownership to conclude payment of any outstanding monies.
⦁ Preparation of the pricing of contractual variation order’s
⦁ Managing the developer Variation approvals
⦁ Liaise with the various Project Managers to assist them in contractual change.
⦁ Assist the Asset &/or Estimating Team when required to deal with peaks in workload, through the production of quotations / issue to the Customers.
⦁ Liaise with Project Management to ensure all relevant information is updated real time.
⦁ Networking and administration of MU projects through internal support systems
⦁ Other ad hoc office duties which are classified as non-critical but can be achieved when time permits depending on the other activities.
⦁ Provide accurate quality work within the department and company.
⦁ Be readily contactable during normal hours.
⦁ Maintain a helpful and informative work environment.
⦁ Assist the Commercial Manager in the development of greater efficiency within the company.
⦁ Ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately and submitted on time.
⦁ Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Commercial Manager.
⦁ Comply with the latest company procedures, legislation, and industry skills on all aspects of day-to-day work
**About You**
You will have a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to all of the following utilities; Gas, Electric, Fibre and Water Distribution Systems
minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Utility Construction Industry and experience of working with Customers, Financial procedures, Quotations, Terms and Conditions and Variations to Contracts.
