**Role**: Support Worker

**Salary**: £12.15 - £12.45 per hour

**Service**: Newport Road, Newport

**Your Role**

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. Through understanding the needs of the people you support, you’ll provide exceptional care that truly changes lives. A career with meaning, you’ll also have a lot of fun, too - from helping with daily tasks to amazing trips that make dreams come true.
- Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
- Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
- Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
- Work across various shift patterns including early, late, weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

**Your Service**

The service is close to the city of Newport, the house is ideally situated to ensure that individuals are able to participate fully in community life despite the challenges they may face arising from the complexity of their presenting needs. Each of the individuals has profound multiple learning disabilities and additional complex needs and this will be the first time they have lived independently and we want to make it the most successful and positive experience for them.
