We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Hillingdon’s School Placement and Admissions Team on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave as an **Admissions & Allocations Officer**.
Our team provides school placements for statutory school-aged pupils, including detailed casework for pupils who are hard to place.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality, customer-focused information and expert advice to schools and parents regarding all aspects of school admissions.
- Play a key role in offering school places.
- Support service delivery over the 12-month period.
- Complete complex and routine tasks with mínimal supervision.
**About You**
We are looking for an organised, self-motivated, and flexible individual with:
- Experience in school admissions.
- Excellent administrative and IT skills (including Word and Excel).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with young people, parents, and schools.
- The ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to handling routine matters independently.
