Restaurant Supervisor

**Job Description (25-30hrs a week)**

The Pier Restaurant have a supervisor position available, as a restaurant supervisor you are expected to ensure that all operations run smoothly and to assist the Manager on shift.

The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, have an eye for detail and to lead the team by example.

A passion for the hospitality industry, with a positive attitude and excellent customer service is absolutely paramount.

**Responsibilities**:
**To ensure service standards are maintained.**

**To confidently ‘run the shift’ and have the ability to think on your feet.**
- To ensure daily and weekly staff briefings within the team are happening.
- To undergo standard checklists are used as prescribed.
- To empower team, lead by example and to handle all positive and negative guest feedback and record correctly.
- To undertake and be responsible for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant.
- To anticipate guests’ needs wherever possible enhancing guest satisfaction.
- To ensure the team are correctly uniformed, in line with company standards and understand the importance of personal hygiene.
- To ensure team are polite, punctual and mindful with our guests
- offering the best possible experience at The Pier.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
- Strong management skills.

- Passion for the hospitality industry.
