**Reports to**: Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning

Position Description

The UK / Ireland Supply Chain Demand Planning team is in charge of the sales forecast for the whole Region, covering all the existing distribution channels (Retail, Web, Wholesale, B2B, QVC)

We are currently looking for a Wholesale & B2B Demand Planner for, motivated by joining a dynamic team in a fast paced environment. This person will mainly be in charge of:
Working closely with key account Manager to forecast sales on permanent and new products, for Wholesalers, Independents and B2B customers
Providing analysis and leading the S&OP cycle for the Wholesale Channel
Coordinating with the Central team the stock flows between France and the UK, to ensure the campaign stock is available in the UK warehouse in due time and in the correct quantities (in the local UK warehouse)
Optimising Inventory in warehouse by providing some local analysis on Excess & Obsolete and close to expiry stock

Major Responsibilities

Sales Forecast for Wholesale and B2B channels

The Demand Planner Wholesale and B2B is in charge of the sales forecasts accuracy for L’Occitane brand UK & Ireland:
Deliver accurate sales forecast based on permanent assortment and kits, based on actual sales analysis, profile by customer & Key account manager plans for future 18 months (new account opening/closure, etc.);
Along with the Key Account Mangers and Marketing team, define future launches strategy and calculate sales potential;
Use and maintain the Sales Forecast software, Futurmaster;
Review monthly catalogue assortment and controlled phase-out planning & specific assortment for the wholesale channel.

S&OP Cycle

The Wholesale Demand Planner is in charge of reviewing monthly the past results with the Wholesale and Marketing teams, and to ensure the sales plan is aligned with the budget expectations (to be presented during the S&OP):
Provide deep dive analysis on sales forecast accuracy and explain gaps;
Provide analysis by product, range and segment on past results to understand performance drivers;
Review historical sales trend, build analysis and present results to teams. Provide input to marketing plan;
Validate with management the summary of top Sales forecasts in value for next snapshot (pack + disaggregated level).

Create and manage the kits production

As a business, we tend to create ready to order kits. The Wholesale Demand Planner will be in charge of ensuring the kits are created and fulfilled in due time for his channels:
Create bill of materials (BOM) and kit works orders on SAP. Ensure that all data and information is aligned between SAP, fulfilment and wholesale marketing teams;
Along with the warehouse fulfilment team, coordinate the fulfilment dates to ensure kits are available in due time in the right quantities;
Raise local purchase orders on SAP;
Manage supply chain master data (open/close SKUs) to control accounts OTB.

Inventory Management

The Wholesale Demand Planner must ensure the stock availability in the local Distribution Centre at all times and work on stock optimisation to avoid any wastage:
Collaborate with the Inventory Central team to manage stock availability (coming POs) and ad-hoc alerts related to stock management;
Manage changes on a daily basis to ensure that customer service levels and security of stock are achieved. The Demand Planner must work closely with the Customer Service team and report to them any stock availability issue;
On a monthly basis, review the Excess & Obsolete and take the appropriate actions once agreed with Wholesale and Marketing teams;
On a monthly basis, update the close to Expiry report and identify any opportunities.
