Standard hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (30 mins unpaid break)

Saturday morning by rota 8:00 am -12:00 (currently working 1 in every 6 weeks)

All hours worked above 40 are paid at time and a half and any hours worked before 7:00 am are at double time

Company Overview:
Our client is a well-established company, who have been in operation almost 65 years and are specialists in commercial vehicle rental. Their customers vary from both trade and retail and they have 6 rental depots, with fully equipped maintenance workshops in the North and South of England; from these depots they operate approximately 2000 vehicles (of which 900 are above 3.5 tons).

We are not looking for someone who necessarily has experience in Valeting but someone who would enjoy this type of work and enjoys a physical role - You will be given full training on all the duties including H&S requirements.

You will be required to:

- Hold a full UK Driver Licence (car)
- Have legible handwriting
- Be in good health and be physically able to climb in and out of the trucks/vans with ease
- Have attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring the vehicles are presented to a very high standard

The role will involve:

- Valeting a variety of vehicles from Light Commercial to HGVs
- Approximately 90% of your time will be in the yard getting the vehicles looking pristine
- You will be required to fill out vehicle 'check sheets' prior to the collection or the delivery of the vehicles and to report any existing/new damages to your line manager
- Site Maintenance/ Yard duties - ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Moving vehicles around the yard and collecting drivers who have just dropped a vehicle off at a customer’s premises and need a lift back to the depot (using company van)

Hourly rates breakdown:
40 hours x £10.11 = £404.40 x 52 weeks= £21,028.80

7.5 hours x £15.17 = £113.74 x 52 weeks= £5,914.35

Saturday Mornings by Rota 4.0 hours x £ 15.17 x 9 weeks= £546.12

TOTAL Average Earnings Per Annum = £27,489.27

Additional Info:

- 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, holidays will increase by an additional day every 2 years of service, up

to a maximum of 25 days
- Contributory pension scheme effectively immediately
- Death in Service pay-out: two times annual salary after 12 months probationary period
