Working at our Long Eaton Shared Service Centre, you'll be part of a passionate and established credit control team.

**What you'll be doing**:
This is a high volume collections environment, which requires tenacious and confident customer service skills.

As well as managing your own allocated ledger to minimise overdue debt, you will monitor our workflow system to ensue credit controllers' activities are on track. You'll also help the credit controllers with Order Screen Management to ensure correct decisions are made.

You'll be trusted to undertake credit limit reviews and assessment of potential new accounts in line with the Company’s risk policy and delegated authority limits, prepare our legal file for submission, and pro-actively review and update the legal position to ensure maximum debt recovery and mínimal cost.

**Essential requirements**:

- Credit Control experience
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
- High level of customer service
- Use own initiative
- Be used to a vibrant and fast-paced work environment
- Excellent attention to detail

**Highly desirable**:

- ICM Membership/Qualification preferable
- Understanding of legal and insolvency matters relating to credit is preferable
