**MHE Trainer**
- We are looking for an MHE Trainer / Instructor to join our operations team at our brand-new distribution centre in Castle Donington
- This role is to support our PM operation on our 2.30pm to 11pm shift
- Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience

**More about the role**
- You will be responsible for driving the site Health and Safety culture.
- Managing the co-ordination, delivery and maintenance of training records for all manual handling training across the teams.
- You will support with on-site inductions for new recruits and agency staff.
- You will be responsible for delivering in-house training to staff on a range of MHE.
- Activity manage the number of MHE operators to maintain experience across the site.
- Provide a proactive approach to reduce risk by ensuring hazards are correctly identified and control measures introduced to eliminate or reduce risk.
- Ensure on-going competence of operators through the delivery of refresher training.
- You will be involved in assisting and advising in the investigation of any on-site and MHE related incidents / accidents.
- You will support the H&S team with reviewing GAP analysis of safety audits, creating risk assessments and safe system of works.

**About You**
- Accredited instructor within a recognised training body, i.e RTITB or ITSSAR certified
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who cares about embedding training in Operations
- Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic business
- Demonstrates a desire to drive change and best practice
- Great organisational and time management skills whilst able to handle changing priorities
- Training background is essential
