A leading End-point Assessment Organisation are looking to bring in an IQA / Moderator to successfully support the development of staff through moderation, CPD and Standardisation. The role is full time, fully remote and home based.

The role reports into the Head of Development of the business where you will be responsible for completing moderation of assessments and the awarding of grades across the Apprenticeships Standards offered. We are looking for IQA’s in the below areas:

- IT & Networking
- Digital Marketing
- Software Development
- Data Analytics
- Cyber Security

The Moderator / IQA role is key to the quality of End-point Assessments across all of the Apprenticeship Standards they offer. Leading on moderation you will be responsible for ensuring all assessment practices are carried out in line with the prescribedmethods set out in the published Apprenticeship Assessment Plans and General Conditions of Recognition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Remain impartial, fair and unbiased at all times
- Make clear recommendations, with reasoning on grading decision
- Contribute to End-point Assessment, Moderation and Standardisation meetings
- Act as a member of any appeals panel as required
- Develop effective working relationships across the business and provide a high-quality customer service to all stakeholders
- Identify potential risks in assessment
- Represent Accelerate People in a professional manner when dealings with all external parties
- Be fully responsible for maintaining complete security and confidentiality of information and material in all activities
- Identify and report any potential Conflict of Interest which may arise
- Keep up to date with any apprenticeship developments, updates or changes, and attend any relevant meetings as required
- Maintain continuous professional development of own occupational specialism

**Essential skills**:

- Significant occupational experience (minimum of three years) with up-to-date knowledge on apprenticeships
- Awareness of new technologies relevant to the Digital Apprenticeship Standards
- Significant Assessor / Examiner / Interviewing / Audit experience
- Competent in following processes, policies and regulatory requirements
- Presenting and reporting data
- Identifying risks
- Relevant certification / qualifications for the role
