Credit Controller

Overview:
**Location: Charles Hurst Head Office**

**Hours: 37.5; Monday
- Friday 8:45- 17:00**

**Salary: £23,100- £26,250**

**Responsibilities**:

- Allocate and update daily cash payments quickly & accurately to the Ledger on a daily basis
- Retrieve, sort, and file daily documents
- Maintain Reconcile Cash Sale / Customer Accounts on a Weekly Basis
- Provide Time basis accurate Weekly / Monthly Reports to aftersales Managers
- Provide support to credit control team to ensure that customers / aftersales adhere to credit control policies
- Where applicable help to sort incoming Mail and distribute to relevant depts
- Distribute monthly Letters / Statements (envelope machine)
- Contact customers on a weekly basis to ensure that they pay promptly within credit terms
- Support credit control team to maintain accurate records of all incoming / outgoing queries on customer Database
- Assist credit control team in identifying potential problems with payments/ queries and resolve quickly and efficiently
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required.

Qualifications:
We are on the hunt for an individual who has demonstratable experience of working within a busy office environment; including showing good data processing skills, excellent communication as well as core Excel, Word and Outlook experience.

It is important you’re able to demonstrate a high standard of numeracy and have a real eye for accuracy Whilst working within Credit Control, it is important that you are a key team player who is able to demonstrate a flexible approach as well as a willingness to learn. Furthermore, it would be great if you’re a self-starter who can both set and achieve goals within this space. It is also essential that you can show strong organisational and time management skills.
