**Overview**
Duties will include greeting customers, taking orders, preparing food and general cleaning duties
**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient workflow.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure availability of ingredients.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols, to maintain a safe working environment.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £9.34-£11.60 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
