**THE ROLE**
So happy to be working again with a small but growing IT consultancy. Who offer outsourced support to the education sector in the North East in their search for an IT Support Analyst.
You will join an organisation that has a real 'family' feel and takes care of its employees. The business has grown substantially over the last year taking on more customers and has built a strong reputation in the Northeast for the quality of support it provides.
**Salary**: up to £25,000 based on experience
**Location**:Gateshead
**Hybrid working**: No. You will be required onsite for this role. However, you will work across different locations in the Northeast
**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (core hours 08:00 - 16:00)
**Holidays**:25 days, plus bank holidays
**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**
As an IT Support Analyst you will be based from the Gateshead Head Office however your day to day will be across a network of schools throughout Northumberland and Tyne & Wear you will be responsible for providing predominantly 2nd line support in person.
The work is varied, no week will be the same and you will get the chance to build up your relationship with the customers over time.
- You will be comfortable will be comfortable managing/maintain, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policies.
- Experience working across Microsoft 365 and troubleshooting across IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot across the network including but not limited to the repair/replacement of faulty components in computers, laptops, iPads, projectors, printers and other ICT equipment, Hardware and software fixes, End User Support and Resolving Wi-Fi issues
- Take ownership of problems through to resolution.
- Liaise with external parties for escalated support when required.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service

**YOUR SKILLS**
You will be able to demonstrate:

- Previous 2nd Line Support experience covering the day-to-day responsibilities above.
- Understanding of MS Windows operating systems.
- A good knowledge of local area networks.
- Full current drivers’ licence and access to a car.
- Flexible approach to work.
- A positive approach to problem solving.
- A self-learner who can be resourceful in figuring out answers to problems.
- Communication skills are a must, need to be able to communicate well with end clients and colleagues, they will often be the face of the business
- DBS will be required for the role but not essential to be in place to start.
