Subcontract Joiner

**Location**: Newcastle Upon Tyne
**Contract Duration**: Approximately 8 weeks
**Hours**: Monday - Friday (8-4)
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Pay**: Based on experience

**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced **Joiner/Carpenter** to join our team on a short-term, temporary basis (around 8 weeks) to assist with the installation of **oak handrails** to ranch-style handrail blocks.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong joinery skills and an eye for precision who takes pride in quality workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install and assist with fitting **oak handrails** to stairwells.
- **Work collaboratively with another installer** to ensure efficient and accurate installation.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area at all times.
- Deliver work to a high standard within agreed timeframes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **Joiner** or **Carpenter**, ideally with experience fitting handrails or balustrades.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills - must be able to **work effectively alongside another installer**.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- CSCS card (essential)
- Own tools and transport (essential).
- References preferred.
