Our client is a £multi-million consultancy within the food industry. Their focus is to drive change and to advise retailers and fmcg companies on best practice across a wide range of industry initiatives involving environment, economy and social issues.As part of their expansion programme they are now keen to recruit a Head Of Insights for their Supply Chain Division, to improve their supply chain operations and deliver a competitive advantage for their organisation.
The primary focus of the role is about engaging with the industry’s supply chain community. Through networking and building relationships with key external stakeholders within the food industry you will understand their challenges and opportunities and be ableto commercialise our client's supply chain offer, delivering value for customers and driving retention of existing business and acquisition to grow the product. Leading a team of Analysts, as part of your remit you will work closely with Marketing, Sales andIT teams to develop and continuously improve the proposition.
To apply, you will currently be in a similar leadership role within either a head office retail, fmcg manufacturing or consultancy role, with a sound understanding of the supply chain arena, coupled with good customer insight skills. Experience of presentingand communicating ideas to a wide variety of audiences will be key, coupled with an understanding of the operational and strategic needs of food and consumer goods supply chains. Extensive knowledge of food and supply chain trends will also be key.
