The hotel consists of 96 bedrooms across four room types, a relaxing spa with a range of professional treatments as well as a refreshing pool and hot tub, flexible function rooms and a stylish bar and restaurant to enjoy throughout the day. We are currently recruiting for Booking Service Agent to join our Truly Talented team. Serve as primary point-of-contact for guests, organizing and attending meeting events at the property to verify their end-to-end experience operates smoothly. You should be positive, calm and approachable, always ensure that the guest is your prime priority. **The core skills and experience required to succeed**: - Ensures that events progress seamlessly. - Greets customers during the event - Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures. - Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill. - Manages group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized assigned groups. - Identifies operational challenges associated with their group and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges\ and/or develop alternative solutions. - Uses their judgment to integrate current trends in event management and event design. - Acts as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event). - Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary. - Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs. - Solicits feedback from the property departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the Event Planner’s experience. **Skills and knowledge** - Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) - Pro-active and reliable - Strong people management skills - Proficient technical capabilities with Opera, Revinate and other operational software. - Excellent planning skills and attention to detail. - Well-considered decision-making - Flexible to work any shift including weekends and bank holidays Having these core skills will put you one step further to joining Axiom Hospitality and the The Winchester Hotel & Spa. **Opportunities for all** At Axiom Hospitality, we are making efforts to reduce our carbon, energy, water and waste footprint.
