This exciting role of Director of Adult Community Services at ELFT will provide operational leadership to our Community Health Services in Tower Hamlets and Newham, supporting us to move on to the next stage of our journey in ICS mobilization, aiming to develop a service that is more resilient and responsive.

The role will require working across a complex set of partnerships in North East London ICS, including the Integrated Care Board, Primary Care Networks, and local authorities, and a number of voluntary sector and other partners in addition to our executive, corporate and directorate leaders and clinical and non-clinical staff. They will take forward the planning and delivery of strategic and business aims in order to provide effective and accessible services aligned to the strategic aims of the Trust and its partners.

The post holder will be an experienced health or social care professional in a clinical or non-clinical capacity, with knowledge and experience of leading large multi-disciplinary teams, complex delivery of services, leading transformation in a large and complex organization and across systems. They will need to have a deep understanding of community health services, population health within integrated care and will need to have strong understanding of national policy and policy requirements including the NHS Long Term Plan, social care white paper and other key national policy drivers.

The post holder will need to be comfortable in working in the context of complexity, ambiguity and uncertainty and have the ability to work autonomously and with the drive and creativity to help develop this exciting agenda.
