SushiDog has brought a new innovative style of selling sushi to the UK and is the first of its kind - we make made-to-order sushi rolls and bowls exactly how the customer wants. We are looking to employ hardworking, confident and reliable people with excellent customer service skills. The job will entail the preparation and serving of sushi. Applicants are not expected to have any previous experience working in a sushi kitchen and will receive full training on all aspects of the job.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Maintains a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting and serving guests and preparing
their orders.
- Provides exceptional customer service during all times of the shift.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests
accurately.
- Uses Point of Sale (POS) system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount
of the bill and collect payments from guests.
- Prepares food neatly, according to the formula and in a timely manner.
- Checks products in fridge unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply
throughout the shift.
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and cleaning standards during
food preparation, service and clean up.
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in
the SushiDog Recipe folder.
- Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned, including temperature checks and
opening/closing tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.50 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus scheme

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Covent Garden, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- relevant: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- food preparation & handling: 1 year (preferred)
