**As an Admin Assistant your main duties will be**:
- To authorise customer payments using the WBAC purchasing system which involves the following:
- Reviewing and ensuring all the correct documentation is present for each purchase
- Checking finance settlement agreements and clearance letters
- Allocating the correct finance company for payment
- Reviewing VAT documentation.
- Placing payments on hold when necessary
- Dealing with vehicle purchaser queries
- Chasing payments on hold to resolve before due date
- Responding to or action statutory requests for information and fines
- Other Ad hoc admin/finance duties as required
**General**:
- To be professional and polite at all times.
- To adhere to and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested.
**Person Specification**:
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible within the role.
- Able to prioritise workloads and achieve tight deadlines.
- Be able to competently use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Manage high volumes of transactions within a high pressured environment.
