Pharmacy Apprentice

Stroud road Pharmacy is a busy community pharmacy in Gloucester. We are looking for a committed individual with a friendly, caring and professional attitude to join our pharmacy team.

Your main roles and responsibilities on a day to day basis will include:

- Being involved in the labelling, endorsing and the dispensing of prescriptions.
- Ordering medication.
- Create and update patient medication records.
- Request prescriptions.
- Undertake housekeeping duties so that the pharmacy remains clean and tidy.
- Regular stock and date checking.
- Being involved in the dispensing of medication in MDS for community and care homes.
- Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers and restocking inventory.
At the completion of the apprenticeship you will be a qualified dispenser equivalent to a NVQ2 along with a Healthcare Assistant qualification.
